The Spring Open Weekender was held at Whitnash PC on Sunday 14th April. Eastern doubles team, Charlie Littleton and Francois Bourquin took part along with some very strong teams mixed with some less experienced players. Jason White & Becky Edwins took the title beating Mokhtar Benerab and Kamal Maloudi in a tight final. Charlie & Francois were unlucky to lose their first game against Mokhtar and Kamal in a super end decider. They lost to Nikki & Barry Scott but then beat Clive DaSilva’s team. They beat Wales 1 in the quarter final of the Bronze, Whitnash PC in the Semi-finals and finally beat Glen Woodward’s Team to win the Bronze Final.
